Zoetta Lynn Croft, 77, of Dayton passed away May 19, 2020 in Kingwood, Texas. Zoetta was born March 22, 1943 in Liberty, Texas to parents John L. Croft and Lucille McClendon Croft.
Services for Mrs. Croft will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 25, 2020 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton with Rev. Jeff Day officiating. Interment will follow at Greenville Cemetery in Kenefick. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. before the service on Monday at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home.
Zoetta was a lifelong resident of the Dayton and Liberty area and attended Kenefick Southern Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing, dancing, and fishing. Zoetta was a great cook and cherished meals with her family. Most of all she loved Jesus. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be fondly remembered as their loving MawMaw. She loved to talk and never met a stranger.
Mrs. Croft was preceded in death by her parents, John L. and Margaret Croft and Lucille and Elton Haynes; her sister, Dorinda Haynes and husband Cowboy. She is survived by her children, Jerrilynn Reed and husband Larry, Dolly Lanier, and Mike Hajdik; seven grandchildren, Josh Hajdik, Rachel Arnold and husband Weslee, Tiffani Bennette and husband Neil, Kali Keck, Kelsey Reed, Mikayla Hajdik and Chris Lanier; seven great-grandchildren, Zack, Mattie, Tucker, Spencer, Gweneth, Emma and Halle; her sister, Jody Penny and husband Larry; special friends, Robin and Andy Nagle; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
