Willie Johnson

Willie Gether Johnson, age 78 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016. He was born September 23, 1938 in Splendora, Texas to parents Simon Peter (Bud) and Hattie M. Johnson who preceded him in death along with his brother, William Elbert Johnson; sisters, Thelma Faulkenberry, Beatrice Abbot, Alma Welch and Adell Swanson; and son-in-law, Jerry R. Howard.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Johnson; daughter, Angela Howard; son, Jamie Johnson and wife Andrea; grandchildren, Kaitlan Howard and Jerred Howard; step-grandchildren, Jordan and Morgan; step great-grandchildren, Layla and Lynlee;
numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 13, 2016 at The Sanctuary Church, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Wells Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
