William Holmes

William Bryant Holmes is survived by his wife Eva Alice Holmes, Children, Sharlett Everett (Bill) Monty Decker (Lisa) John Decker (MaryAnn) Becky Brewer (Jim), 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, brother Ed Holmes and wife Nadine and family and sister-in-law Kathryn Holmes and family. He is preceded by brothers Carlton Holmes, Jimmy Holmes and Mother, Pearl Holmes. Served in the U.S. Army from 1943-1946 as Corporal 10th Army Air Force Engineer Rescue Boat Squadron. Mason Lodge and Member of Boilermakers Union 132. He was a kind gentleman that never met a stranger. He loved his family, playing guitar and singing with his friends. Services will be held at Pace Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland, Texas with Pastor Reeves officiating on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at 2pm. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16
