William “Frosty” Dryden, 67, of Hardin, Texas passed away October 23, 2020 in Baytown, Texas. Frosty was born November 15, 1952 in Kountze, Texas to parents Erman Donely Dryden and Willie Mae Cowart.
Frosty had lived in Hardin for the past 56 years. He enjoyed collecting memorabilia, playing on the computer and playing poker. He also enjoyed reading books and writing poetry. He was employed as a machine tender in the papermill industry.
Frosty was preceded in death by his parents; his son John Paul Dryden; sisters Donna Harris and Sherry Shipman. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dolly Dryden; his children, Jake Dryden and wife Charity, Shawn Dryden and wife Shonda, Oscar Secada and wife Katriesa, and Andre Fairley; brothers, Ed Dryden and wife Terri, Mike Dryden and wife Marion; sister, Barbara VanHorn and brother-in-law, Dennis Shipman; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
Visitation for Frosty will be Sunday, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 26, 2020 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Fabriguze officiating. Interment will follow at Hardin Chapel Cemetery, Hardin, Texas.
