William C. “Neil” Robison
(September 4, 1933 – February 11, 2012)

William C. “Neil” Robison passed away February 11, 2012. He was born in Camilla, Texas on September 4, 1933. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Robison and Lydia Jordan Hubbard, and his brother William Hubbard.
Neil moved to San Antonio at the age of 10 with his family, and joined the United States Air Force in February of 1952. He met Arlene Stromberger in 1955 and they were married in February of 1956 in Windsor, CO. He was discharged from the military in 1956 and entered Civil Service at Lackland Air Force Base where he retired as Chief of Data Automation in 1988 after 37 years of service.
Neil always loved to spend time outdoors, and in his retirement enjoyed ranching, hunting, fishing and gardening. He also loved to discuss any of these with his friends and family, and to share stories of people and events from years gone by. Neil is survived by his wife Arlene, daughter Terri and husband Kent Reising; son Bud Robison and wife Chris; son A.J. Robison and wife Geralynn; 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; sister Sharon Evans; brothers Charles Hubbard, Sammy Lee Robison, Douglas Robison and Landry Robison, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2012, 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Coldspring, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Coldspring, with interment following at Old Waverly Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association or to the Diabetes Foundation. Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Coldspring is in charge of arrangements.
