William Berton “Bill” Greenlee, 73, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017, in Houston.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, August 13, 2017, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Cline Prairie Cemetery in Huntsville. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Bill was born September 28, 1943 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to parents; Hoyle and Margaret Walker Greenlee. Mr. Greenlee was a resident of Dayton, Texas since 1998. He attended Milby High School and Pipefitters Local #211 Apprentice School, and retired from Grayco Mechanical after 40 years of employment. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, loved to barbeque and enjoyed working in his yard.
Mr. Greenlee was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Harry T. Greenlee, sister: Linda Greenlee McCarrell, and grandson: Ryan Killion. He is survived by his wife of 55 years: Donna Stagner Greenlee of Dayton, children: Holly Anne Killion and husband Jim of Riverside, April Johnson and husband Wayne of Dayton, William T. Greenlee and wife Carla of Conroe, and Cody H. Greenlee and wife Donna Lee of Marble Falls, brother: Jerry Greenlee and wife Jo-Dean of Huffman, sister: Susan Alberti and husband Joel of Rockwall, grandchildren: Jason, Jessica, and Amber Killion, Reiko Gavin, Emily and Abby Greenlee, Moxie Greenlee, and Corbin Stokes, great-grandchildren: Olivia, Quentin, Mackenzie, Alyssa, Zae, Stephanie, and Kyra, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
