William Andrew Rice, Sr.

William “Bill” Andrew Rice, Sr., age 74 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016. He was born September 15, 1942 in Cleveland, Texas to parents Fred McCullen Rice and Lucille Meadows who preceded him in death along with his daughter, Karyn Day.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria Lacy Rice; daughter, Lindsay M. Jordan; son, William A. Rice, Jr. and wife Jena; sister, Carolyn Lilley and husband Bill; brother, Fred M. Rice and wife Dana; grandchildren, Greg Rice, Chester Rice, Joshua Rice and Micah Jordan; great-grandchildren, Lathan Allan Rice, Makenzi Lynn Boyd Rice and Silas Nathaniel Rice; numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 7, 2016 and from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Ryan Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Methodist Heart Transplant Unit.
