Willard Carlton Banks, age 74, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2010. He was born in El Campo, Texas on February 23, 1936 to Carlton Morris and Velma Banks. Survivors include his companion, Treva Black; son, Gary Banks and wife, Liz; daughters, Terri Pursell and Larry Sunday, Sandra Gallatin; grandchildren, Larry Banks, Jamie Roberts, Lyndsey Rhodes, Brandon Rhodes; great-grandchildren, Syndey Banks, Amanda Roberts; sister, Carlene Nickerson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other cherished family members and treasured friends. Visitation will be held Friday, April 9, 2010, 5:00-9:00 p.m., Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 10, 2010, 1:00 p.m. at Coldspring Cemetery, Garrison, Texas. Pallbearers include Donny Jo Fancher, Ricky Nickerson, Pat Fancher, David Reeves, Theral Jones, and Kenny Fancher; honorary pallbearer, James Crosby.
