Wilburn Tom Carter, age 78, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Friday, March 16, 2012. He was born in Huntsville, Texas on January 11, 1934 to parents, Walter Thomas Carter and Sue Inez Vann Carter who preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Carter; sons, Kevin Carter, Tommy Carter and Darlene, Chance Carter and Nikki; daughters, Dianna Carter and Rachel Carter; grandchildren, Matthew Carter, Leah Carter Adair and husband, Mitchell, Hannah Carter, Jacob Carter, Kyle Carter and Faith Ann Carter; sister, Suebeth Burge and John; nephews, Johnny Burge and David Burge; niece, Kristi Brookshire; mother-in-law, Lona Allsup and numerous cousins and other relatives.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2012, 5:00-9:00 p.m., at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Funeral services are being held Wednesday, March 21, 2012, 10:30 a.m. at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, with interment immediately following at Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen, Texas.
