Wanda Ann Grimes, 62, of Anderson County, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2020, in Dayton, Texas. She was born June 29, 1958, in Houston, Texas.

Services for Mrs. Grimes will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 17, 2020 at Pace-Stancil Chapel in Coldspring, Texas, with interment to follow at Raven Hill Cemetery in Oakhurst, Texas. The family will receive friends from noon to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Wanda was a longtime residence of Anderson County. She enjoyed sewing, reading, drawing and scary movies.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Charles “Bubba” Maines; her sister, Tanya Riggs; and a grandchild, Drew Harrison. She is survived by her children, Johnny Watkins and wife, Shannon; Penny Watkins and Daniel Watkins; grandchildren, Shaman Watkins, Blake Watkins, Sawyer Watkins, Justine Watkins, Zander Carnes, and Emily Watkins; sister, Ray Lynn Miller and husband, Ricky; brother, David Simmons
