Walton Herbert Miller

Walton Herbert Miller, age 91, of Point Blank, Texas, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014. He was born January 15, 1923, in Beaumont, Texas, to parents, William Karl and Cordelia Evangeline Wackerman Miller who preceded him in death along with his wife, June Miller. Mr. Miller was a Veteran of the United States Army serving his country honorably, 1943 to 1946. He served as Staff Sergeant during WWII. He was a member of Family Faith Church in Huntsville, Texas. He was baptized on May 20, 2009 and served his church faithfully until he fell ill in November of 2013. He will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him. Survivors include his brothers, Robert Miller and wife, Juanita; W. K. Miller and wife Leona; nephews, Don Shannon, Lynn Shannon, Craig Shannon, Billy Miller, Jeff Miller, Wayne Bennet, and Stanley Bennet; nieces, Margaret Mathis, Susan Boldrick, Donna Fouts, and Lanna Kulpa; numerous other cherished family members and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, March 2, 2014, 3:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church, Coldspring, Texas.
