Virgie Lou Sims

Virgie Lou Sims, age 94 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2015. She was born November 3, 1920 to parents James A. Barber and Della Luna who preceded her in death along with her husband, Emmitt Sims, daughter, Janice Ford, two sisters and four brothers. Survivors include sons, Bennett R. Sims and wife Julia and Michael Sims and wife Pat; daughter, Deana Burch and husband James; eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Troy Wilkie will preside over graveside services held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Gourd Creek Cemetery, New Waverly, Texas.
