Violet Donna Loflin, age 82, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014. She was born January 19, 1932, in Houston, Texas. Mrs. Loflin was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church; enjoyed gardening, fishing, sewing, cooking and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her father, Howard Williams; mother, Helen Utley; son, James Perry; daughters, Mary Boultinghouse, Barbara Reid, and Debbie West; brothers, Bobby Williams and John Williams; two grandchildren, Sherry Cook and Dennis Senter. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Ollie Loflin; sons, Billy Perry, Mike Perry, and Mike Loflin; daughters, Donna Hansen, Linda Limas, Janet Allen, Patsy Coats, and Kathy Gierhart; brothers, Wayne Williams and Ken Williams; sisters, Jean Starnes, Shirley Huskey; thirty grandchildren and great-grandchildren (too many to count); numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and friends. Also included are her dog “Baby†and donkey “Violet.†Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m., Monday, January 27, 2014, at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Bro. Toby Clements will preside over services to be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 30, 2014, at Magnolia Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas, with interment following at Magnolia Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jerry Gafford, Sean Anderson, Timothy Gafford, Daryl Snead, Brian Taylor, and Cody Perry. Honorary pallbearers include Chester Hart and Jeff Yeager.
