Vickie Lynn Costilow

Vickie Lynn Gibson Costilow, 67, of Crosby passed away July 12, 2019 in Baytown, Texas. She was born August 10, 1951 in Fort Worth, Texas to parents Oscar Gibson and Nevada Salinas Gibson.
Service for Mrs. Costilow will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Gene Talbot and Brother Josh Seale officiating. Interment will follow at Ryan Cemetery, in Tarkington. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at Pace-Stancil in Dayton. Serving as pallbearers will be Cody Gardner, Mike Wenzrel, Bryan Kilgore, Conner Wenzrel, Bobby Ellis and Steven Kilgore.
Mrs. Costilow had been a resident of the Fort Worth area before moving to Crosby when she was eighteen years old. She loved to cook and was best remembered for her cakes and pies. Vickie had to be pretty everywhere she went and never left the house without her hair and makeup done. She loved her family and would do anything for her beloved husband, always putting others before herself. Vickie loved her church and especially enjoyed her Sunday School class. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Vickie Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, Bertha Lee and Claude Salinas, cousin, Doyle Huffman and her aunt Ruby Salinas. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Garland Costilow; daughter, Kristie Wenzrel and husband Mike; grandchildren, Conner Wenzrel, Tyler Gardner and husband Cody; great-grandson, Asa David Gardner; her sister-like cousin, Sandra Kilgore Jordan; aunt, Nell Cobb and many other cousins and special friends.
