Veronica “ Ronnie” Francille Greene Stone, 76, of Tomball, Texas passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020. She was born March 18, 1943 in Moss Point, Mississippi to parents, Elder Ray Greene and Adina Orlea Tarver Greene.
Graveside service for Mrs. Stone will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Houston under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Forest Lawn.
Ronnie had lived in Tomball for the past two years after moving from Pasadena where she had been a long time resident. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, no. 4395, the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and was past president of the PTA at Gardens Elementary in Pasadena. She enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting and working crossword puzzles. Most of all she loved her family and being very involved with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by her parents, Elder Ray Green and Adina Cirilo, her brother, Adrian Anthony Cirilo and her sister, Elsie Mae Bell. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 38 years, Jimmy F. Stone; her children, John Raymond Herron and wife Catana, William “Bill” Herron and Tina Hendrix and husband Ed; her siblings, Lotus D. Cirilo, Charles Cirilo and wife Debbie, Byron Cirilo and wife Kaye, Viola Darlene Hayes and husband Dan and Lydia Carroll; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
