Verna Bounds

Verna Lou (McCleish) Bounds, age 88, of Fairview, Texas passed away on November 14, 2016. She was born December 26, 1927, in Houston, Texas to Milliard and Kathryn (Clay) McCleish. On August 27, 1949 Verna married William Bounds in Cleveland, Texas and they were happily married for 67 years.

She is survived by her husband, William Bounds of Fairview, Texas; daughter Barbara Ellis and husband Whit of Plano, Texas; and son Bill Bounds of Sugar Land, Texas. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Matthew Ellis, Erin Ice, Mollie Ellis, and one great grandchild, Norah Ice.

Verna is preceded in death by her parents, Milliard and Kathryn McCleish; and her sister Annette Parker.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 18, 2016 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
