Verlon Powdrill

Verlon Powdrill, age 93 of Porter, Texas, passed away Friday, July 8, 2016. He was born January 29, 1923 in Shelby County, Texas to parents James and Mollie Powdrill who preceded him in death along with his wife, Zelmarie Powdrill.

Survivors include his sons, Verlon Ray Powdrill and wife Phyllis, Richard Dewayne Powdrill and wife Karen, Micheal Powdrill and wife Teresa; daughters, Janna Lynn Kalmbach, Stacy Lynn Comalander and husband Patrick; grandchildren, Stephanie, Stephen, Richard, Rodney, Ashley, Courtney, Phillip, Laura, Justin, Jessica, Jimmy, Jamie, Wendy, Kenny, Kaylin, Harlee, Kaycee, and Memphis; numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Mt. Olive Cemetery, 4417 CR 4054 Timpson, Texas.
