Vera Sue Conner

Vera Sue Conner, age 86 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2016. She was born July 20, 1929 in El Campo, Texas to parents Fred and Oda Dill who preceded her in death along with her siblings, Thelma Bucannan, Freddie Dill and Gene Dill; and son, David Marcus Conner. Survivors include her husband, Carlton M. Conner; daughters, Marilyn and husband Bob Argo, Rose Marie and husband Gary Crook; sister, Eula Hubbell; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charles and Willie Conner; grandchildren, Russell Atkin and wife Diana Senik, Jonice Roberts, Valerie Connelly, Jennifer and husband Lonnie Delacruz, Jonathan and wife Ariel Crook; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Williamson, Anabeth Roberts, Genevieve Roberts, Morgan Delacruz, Elias Roberts, Mason Atkin and Dylon Delacruz; great great-grandchild, Ava Rose Khalil; nieces, Ethel Hiriart, JoAnn Gilliland, Deann Masten, Shirley Person and Harleen Palmer; nephews, Richard Conner and Bobby Jo Phillips; close friends, Cindy and Darrell Grant and family.Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 8, 2016 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
