Velma Cupps

Velma Lois Cupps, age 89, passed away at Eagle Pass, Texas on Thursday, June 17, 2010. She was born in Cleveland, Texas on February 12, 1921 to Charles Dee and Icee Oliver who preceded her in death along with her loving husband of 61 years, Harley Cupps; and her grandson, Marc Andrew McCraw. Survivors include her son, Rev. Dr. Robert Cupps and wife, Betty; daughters, Rev. Harlene Sadler, Sue Chapman and husband, Frank, Gina Foote and husband, Brian; grandchildren, Jason Cupps, Lisa Smith, Megan Blankenship, Sandi Whiton, Steve Sadler, Mandee McAdams, Micah McCraw, Drew Foote; great-grandchildren, Rachael, Caleb, Jophill, Aaron, Joshua, Katie, Magie, Sophie, Autumn, Summer, Ian, Maverick, and Major; brother, John Oliver; numerous other cherished family members and treasured friends throughout the years. Rev. Harlene Sadler and Rev. D. Tim Holder presided over funeral services held Monday, June 21, 2010 at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens. Pallbearers include Steve Sadler, Frank C. Hapman, Jason Cupps, Micah McGraw, Drew Foote, and Brian Foote.
