Tyna Jaunell Tope

Tyna Jaunell Tope, beloved mother, sister, love-bug, and mawmaw, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2024. Born on March 17, 1964, in Houston, Texas. 

Tyna was a beacon of warmth and love in the lives of those who knew her. Her home was always open, her kitchen always bustling, and her heart always welcoming. Tyna's cooking was legendary among her family, who often looked forward to her delicious meals and cherished gatherings. Known for her honest and straightforward nature, she never left anyone guessing about where they stood with her, always speaking from a place of deep sincerity.

She was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Mary, and her brother Ronald. Tyna is survived by her cherished children, Paul, MaryAnn, and Chris; her brother Kenneth; and her beloved son-in-law, Chris, and loving daughter-in-law, Katie. She also leaves behind her brothers-in-law Wayne and Tommy, and her sisters-in-law Beth, Carol, Shelia, and Kim. Tyna's legacy of love and joy will continue through her grandchildren: Dominic, Scott, Cameron, Sean, Brayleigh, Gracelyn, MaKayla, and Audrey.

Tyna's memory will forever be held close in the hearts of her family and friends. Her spirit, generosity, and candid nature will be deeply missed. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 10:00 am, at Pace Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland, TX.
