Troy Joseph Pitre

Troy Joseph Pitre, 57 of Hull passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019 in Kingwood. Troy was born April 3, 1962 in Orange, Texas to parents, Joseph Pitre, Jr. and Sandra Jean Peveto Pitre.

Service for Troy will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 29, 2019 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton with Rev. Ted Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Palms Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton. The family will receive friends 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday evening at Pace-Stancil.

Troy grew up in Orange where he attended West Orange Stark High School. He soon began his career in many aspects of the funeral business. He worked in the cemetery and in all phases of the monument and granite business. Troy and his brother Ryan worked together for many years in P & P Memorials and at Custom Etchings. Troy was an outdoors kind of guy. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being on his tractor or operating a bulldozer. Some of his favorite pass times were playing cards and going gambling. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He will be surely missed by all that knew and loved him.

Troy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary and Casey Peveto and Olivie and Joseph Pitre, Sr. He leaves behind, his parents, Sandra and Joseph Pitre, Jr. of Orange; his sister, Lisa Pitre of Orange; his brother, Ryan Pitre and wife Julie of Liberty; his wife of 20 years, Diane Pitre of Hull and their children, Tyson Pitre; Carrie Pitre Ingalls and husband James, Jeremy Blanchard and wife Anna, Jennifer Neikirk and husband Eric, Alisha Perry and husband Derrick, Alvin Linn and wife Nikki; his grandchildren that he loved so much, Tyson’s children, Tyson Joseph Pitre and Alisa Pantoja, Carrie’s children, Gracie and Jamie Ingalls, Alisha’s children Baylea and Carmyn Perry, Alvin’s children Gavin and Kylie Linn, Jennifer’s son Alex Neikirk, and Jeremy’s daughter Emily Blanchard; niece, Kendall Pitre; nephew, Dalton Pitre and his children Mallerie, Presley Paris; Dawson;numerous other relatives, a host of friends and his beloved dog, Lady Bug to cherish his memory
