Thomas Richard Haverkorn Jr.

Thomas Richard Haverkorn Jr., age 70 and a resident of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Wednesday, August 07, 2013 at his home. He was born July 09, 1943 in Houston, Texas to parents Thomas Richard and Dorothy Sue Haverkorn who preceded him in death along with his wife Annie Irene Haverkorn. He was a truck driver in the pipeline industry by trade. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; he will be remembered lovingly. Survivors include his children Thomas Richard Haverkorn III and wife Christine, Toni Kay Schultea and husband James, Vicki Ann Young and husband Timothy; brother Kenneth Haverkorn; sisters Carol Crisp and Greta Cooper; grandchildren Preston K. Roane II, Richard C. Roane, Doriann L. Smith, Nancy A. Haverkorn, Thomas Richard Haverkorn IV, Cheyene Patrese Schultea, Kayla Rene Hernandez, Brent Young, Zakury Brent Young, Airis Mishelle Young; great-grandchildren Carter Christopher Roane, Coleman Joe Smith, Camryn Ja’Chelle Trench LaBorde, Cazlyn Patrese Trench LaBorde; numerous other cherished relatives and a host of faithful friends throughout the years. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 11, 2013, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Pastor Terry Jones will preside over funeral service being held 12:00 p.m., Monday, August 12, 2013 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens. Pallbearers include Bubba Clark, Charles Clark, Little Johnny Clark III, Cary Smith, Pug Hollie, and Paul Clark.
