Thomas Lee Thoms

Thomas Lee Thoms, age 72, and a resident of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at his home. He was born in Blakeney, Texas in 1940 to parents Amos Calvin and Jewel Thoms. Thomas was a compassionate man; he owned and operated Thoms Propane for 25 years in Shepherd and enjoyed working with the public. He found joy in contributing towards the local charities, clubs, school programs and various functions. He was a devoted father, loving grandfather, brother and steadfast friend; he was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents Amos and Jewel Thoms; and his sister Bobbi Thoms. Survivors include his daughter Paula Pittman; sons Kevin L. Thoms and wife Linda, Michael Thoms, Thomas Joe Thoms; sister Patti Vicker and husband Bob; brother Billy Thoms and wife Peggy; grandchildren Joshua R. Sanchez, Kelcy J. Sanchez, Kassidy Thoms, Jennifer Cardona, Candy Pittman, and Ricky Pittman; great-grandchildren Joseph R. Kelsey, Julian Cardona, Joseph Cardona, Janessa, and Jacob Cardona; numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and treasured friends.
