Theresa Faye Harrington

Theresa Faye Harrington, 60, of League City passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017.

The family will receive friends 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00 Noon, Monday, August 14, 2017 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in China, Texas. Interment will follow at China Cemetery under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home.

Theresa was born November 29, 1956 in Beaumont, Texas to parents, Ophey Val Godeaux and Yvonne Janise Godeaux. She was a graduate of Hardin Jefferson High School in 1975 and attended Lamar University. She was a longtime resident of Dayton where she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, worked for Heritage Mortgage and was always supporting Jaci and Doug in their activities.

Theresa and Allen moved to League City seven years ago and are members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing and reading but most of all she loved her family and being with her grandchildren.

Theresa was preceded in death by her father and brother, Ovey Ray Godeaux. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Allen Harrington of League City; mother, Yvonne Janise Godeaux of China; son, Doug Michael Harrington and wife Elaine of Seabrook; daughter, Jacqueline Harrington Bundick and husband Bruce of Winnie; grandchildren, Nathan Denny, Chelsea Harrington, Madison Bundick, Blake Bundick, and Wyatt Bundick; brothers, Orise Lee Godeaux and wife Trudy of China; sister, Elvina Godeaux Rougeau and husband Larry of Beaumont; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
