Terry Glenn Clevenger, Sr., 65, of Dayton, died Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 30, 2014, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Palms Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Terry was born August 3, 1949 in Nacogdoches, to parents; Hayden Clevenger and Verline Johnson, a former resident of Highlands, and has resided in Dayton for the past 32 years. He was a retired millwright and member of Family Worship Church. He enjoyed watching TV, wood working, and especially spending time with his family. Mr. Clevenger was preceded in death by his father: Hayden Clevenger, mother: Verline Johnson Jenkins, an infant daughter, and brothers: Jerry and Joe Mac Clevenger. He is survived by his wife: Charlene Crather Clevenger of Dayton, son: Terry Clevenger, Jr. and wife Tabitha of Dayton, daughter: Stacey Trahan and husband Joey of Winnie, stepsons: William Eastep and wife Summer of Dayton and Michael McLemore and wife Leeanna of Dayton, sister: Charlott Cooke of Nacogdoches, 14 grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
