Life is Not Measured by time, but Measured by Memories Tammy was the best wife a husband could ever ask for! She and Randy were married for 32 years. She has several jobs in her married life. One was a hair stylist, and later she worked for Sysco Food services where she worked her way up to Accounts Payable Manager. She worked there for 17 years. During her time as Accounts Payable Manager she was awarded Employee of the Year. She later had to resign as MS became part of her life, and she was unable to work the hours needed. Then she became a house wife and took care of the house, dogs and everything else. Tammy was always a Bargain Shopper, and she was always happy to save money on items that were on sale. Tammy and Randy did most of the shopping together. She loved re-purposing things and going to Flea Markets when it was cool. They also loved camping out in the Texas Hill Country and even took her mom “tubing on the Guadalupe Riverâ€. Camping with her cousins was always a great time. There were special memories in all of those camping trips. She loved to sew and do crafts (just like her mom). She even sold some of the items she made over the internet and at a consignment store. She and niece Amber were very close and enjoyed shopping together, running across town, doing craft sales or just hanging out. Amber was like the daughter she never had. Our nieces and nephews – Amber, Casey, Kerry, Kristin, Kayla, Joseph and Brandon – were very special to her, and she loved them with all of her heart. Then along came the Great Nieces Lorelei, Khloe, McKenzie, Zoe, Olivia and a Great Nephews Lucas. They all were loved deeply by her. She loved giving wedding showers and baby showers for the girls. Her dogs Dusty, Lane and Reba were her special friends, and she would sit out and play with them daily. All of her family was special to her. She was daddy’s girl and missed him every day after he passed away in 2006. She talked to her mom at least 3 times a day on the phone. Her brother Albert and his wife Pricilla have always been a part of her life. She loved them and would do what she could for them, and they would do the same for her. There is a lot more to tell, but Tammy and Randy just wanted to get this message out! Make memories while we are still on this Earth. Life is not measured by Time but measured by Memories. Memories are Forever. Tammy Jo Mizell, age 55 of Crosby, Texas, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015. She was born April 6, 1960 to parents Albert and Laritta White.
