Tammy Lynn Conklin

Tammy Lynn Bell Conklin, 43, of Houston passed away peacefully August 12, 2014 Vitas Inpatient Hospice facility in The Woodlands, Texas. She was born November 10, 2014 in Pasadena, Texas to parents Lee and Linda Brock Bell. Tammy was a graduate of the University of Houston earning dual bachelor degrees simultaneously. She loved children and achieved her dream of becoming a teacher in January, 2014. She enjoyed learning and being a teacher to many. Tammy loved animals and spent many days and nights on her farm tending to it lovingly. Her favorite books as a child were the Little House on the Prairie series and read them repeatedly. She had two favorite flowers; one was Wild Evening Primrose as it reminded her of her childhood growing up on the farm. The other was a Sunflower, as one of her students had given it to her as a gift her first year of teaching. Tammy absolutely lived life to its fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, reading, her unique way of making you laugh, spending time with her children and her grandchildren. She touched so many lives and her spirit will carry on forever. Services for Tammy will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Rural Shade Baptist Church in Tarkington with Dr. Byron Reeves officiating. Interment will follow at Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at Rural Shade Baptist Church. Tammy Conklin is survived by her loving husband Robert Conklin Jr, her children Bridgette Sullivan, Joshua Sullivan, Shaun Devin Sullivan, and Robert Conklin III, her grandchildren Jeremiah and Jude Greer, her parents Lee Bell and Linda Maqableh, her siblings Sandra Gallegos, Brian Bell, Bill Slater, and Deena Westerman. She will be missed deeply and is so very loved by many.
