Talmage Bonnette Taylor, age 84 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Monday, April 1, 2019. He was born June 16, 1934 in Pineville, Louisiana to parents Talmage and Thelma Goudeau Taylor who preceded him in death.
Mr. Taylor was a 1956 Graduate of SLI, a Petroleum Engineer, and a mechanical wizard. He loved anything Cajun and was a very good cook. He had a love for animals; deer, birds, his horse, and feeding “Sassy” the squirrel. His favorite past times were fishing, hunting and playing golf.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Patricia Taylor; son, James Talmage Taylor “Jimmy” and wife Liz; daughter, Cathy Ann Wagner and husband Doug; grandchildren, Keith Wagner and wife Emily, Lindsey Piechota and husband Ashton, Jim Taylor, Jr. and wife Julie, Will Taylor and Michael Taylor; great-grandchildren, Nathan Wagner, Callum Wagner, Ava Peyton Piechota and Wyatt Taylor; in-laws, Kenny and Sylvia Shook of Anderson, Indiana, Sonny and Dianne Johnson of Winnfield, Louisiana; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with the service to follow at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Andy Cherry. Interment will be at Forest Park Westheimer, Houston, Texas.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Crystal Richardson and Ashley White for the love and care they provided.
