Sylvia Lee Taylor

Sylvia Lee Taylor, age 82 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016. She was born November 21, 1934 in Beckville, Texas to parents Harmon "Pulleybone" and Vesta Jordan who preceded her in death along with her husband of fifty-four years, R.V. Morgan Taylor “Red”; son, Mike Taylor; brother, Herman Jordan; sister, Nelwyn Scogin; grandchild, Steve Taylor, Jr.; and daughter-in-law, Cynthia Taylor.

Survivors include her sons, Steve Taylor and Joe Taylor; daughters, Rita Meekins and husband Walter and LaNell Meatte and husband Terry; brother, Darwin Jordan and wife Margie; grandchildren, Scott Taylor, Michael Paul Taylor, Katrina White, Courtney Wells, Kevin Meekins, Samantha Coaliron and Bobbie Filipp; dogs, Baby and Rambo; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will begin at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Wells Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
