Susan Wages Kornegay

Susan Wages Kornegay, 62, of Huffman, died Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at her residence.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Susan was born October 16, 1949 in Wynne, AR, a former resident of Houston, and has resided in Huffman for the past eight years. She was a graduate of the M. B. Smiley High School class of 1969, a retired sales representative for Southwest Regional Metal Sales, past national president of A.W.M.I., and a member of the Huffman Garden Club. She also enjoyed gardening, interior decorating, sports, and playing Bunko, bridge, and golf.
Mrs. Kornegay was preceded in death by her mother: Bobbie Villa Roddy, daughter: Jane Klein, and brother: Richard Roddy. She is survived by her husband of 10 years: Randy Kornegay of Huffman, stepdaughter: Jessica Kornegay of Columbia, SC, stepson: Dustin Kornegay of Yelm, WA, grandchildren: Augustus Klein, Ava Jane Kornegay, Xavier Loren Kornegay, and Jermaine Burce, Jr., brother: John Roddy and wife Donna R. of Huffman, stepfather: Doyle Roddy of Huffman, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
