Suzi Walter Jackson, age 71 of Coldspring, Texas passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021. She was born June 13, 1949 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to parents Pete Elvin Walter and Elizabeth Dundas Clark Walter Whaley Mothershead who preceded her in death along with her brother, David Hill Walter.

She contributed 35 years to public education as a teacher and administrator. You could always see her at the annual Chili Cook Off, gatherings at the Point, pot-luck suppers, Barbeque Cook Off, annual fishing tournament, Holiday parties, the annual Ice Cream Social and Golf Cart Parade, or graciously opening up ‘the deck’ for fun and conversation. Suzi was active in her church, The Coldspring United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir, sang in a wonderful quartet and supported in the weekly office meetings. Suzi loved to play bridge with her friends at Cape Royale and enjoyed singing, playing the piano and playing dominoes/cards. An additional activity she loved was participating in the annual Coldspring Community Choir Concert.

Suzi (also called Sissy) lived a full and wonderful life, she followed Christ and loved her family and friends. She was like a bouquet of yellow roses-always smiling, laughing and helping others. She loved to connect with her high school friends, Nancy, Linda and Nancy. She brought joy wherever she went and will be sorely missed. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Coldspring United Methodist Church. A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
Her family would like to thank you for your many prayers, cards, food and well wishes. Remember her laugh and know that she is at peace with our Lord and Savior, Psalms 23:1-6
