Stewart Dundee Henderson, 30, of Dayton passed away Monday May 13, 2019 in Beaumont. Stewart was born August 31, 1988 in Beaumont, Texas to his parents, Lee Roy and Leslie Stewart Henderson.
A celebration of Stewart’s life will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday May 17, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Dayton with Rev. Ken Davis officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Serving as pallbearers will be Dusty Garrett, Jeff Daily, Wilson Lopez, Brent Villermin, Zach Crowder, and Lex Stewart. Honorary pallbearer will be Donald Stephens and Katie Stephens.
Stewart was a lifelong resident of Dayton and was a member of First Baptist Church. He was self-employed in the construction industry. Stewart enjoyed sports, especially baseball, football, basketball, fantasy football and loved to go fishing. He enjoyed tattooing and art. Stewart loved everyone; if you were his friend you were a friend for life. Stewart will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
Stewart was preceded in death by his father, Lee Roy Henderson and sister, Amber Henderson.
Stewart is survived by his mother, Leslie Stewart Henderson of Dayton; grandparents, O. J. and Sonya Stewart of Dayton; sister, Caiti Henderson; nieces, Lexcie Longtine and Maizie Henderson; aunts and uncles, Mary Crowder, Jeff and Laura Stewart, Mark Bay and Mike Bay; cousins, Zach Crowder, Megan Crowder, Lex Stewart and Cara Stewart; and girlfriend, Chelci Schuman; numerous other relatives and friends.
