Steven Howard Collier, 72, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at his residence.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Steven was born February 22, 1945 in Fort Worth, to parents; Herman H. and Anne Mae Hilliard Collier, and has been a resident of Dayton for the past 17 years. He was a retired machinist. He also enjoyed motorcycles, BBQs, reading, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Mr. Collier was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 52 years: Geneva Hunter Collier, sons: Jeremy Collier and Steven Collier, Jr., daughters: Wendy Collier and Jennifer Tunnell, sisters: Beverly Shanks, Nettie Deatherage, and Judy McMahan, grandchildren: Jeremy Collier, II, Brittney Collier, Sam Tunnell, Mathew Tunnell, Jessica Saman, and Steven Collier, great-grandchildren: Rose Whitmire, Delilah Collier, Alice Collier, and Carly Tunnell, numerous other relatives, and friends.
