Stephen Scott Campbell, 29, of Clay, AL, died Saturday, November 30, 2013, in Alabama. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 7, 2013, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral home in Dayton. Stephen was born February 9, 1984 in Birmingham, AL, to parents; Kevin Scott Campbell and Cheryl Lynn Jones, and was a former resident of Dayton. He was a graduate of the Dayton High School class of 2002, attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a former mascot for the Dayton Volunteer Fire Department, and was employed by Blue Canoe in building maintenance. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, motorcycles, and building and racing cars. Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his grandparents: Kyle E. Jones, Carolyn Morrow Stubblefield, and Mary Locke. He is survived by his mother: Cheryl L. Stubblefield and husband Eric of Dayton, father: Kevin Scott Campbell and wife Janna of Clay, AL, son: Elijah Scott Campbell of Clay, AL, sisters: April Watson Alford and husband Doug of Liberty, Deanna Campbell Yarbrough of Birmingham, AL, and Casey Rowe of Birmingham, AL, brother: Christian Eugene Stubblefield and wife Angelica of Dayton, grandmother: A. Shirley Jones of Liberty, and numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
