Stephen Anthony Lee

Stephen Anthony Lee was born in Duncan, Oklahoma on July 24, 1958 to parents, Billy Wayne Lee and Colleen L. Bailey . He passed away July 10, 2024 in Cleveland, Texas at the age of 65. Anthony graduated from Ft. Gibson High School in 1976 and attended Bacone College in Muskogee to play baseball. He later continued school at Northeastern University in Tahlequah and Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. Despite attending their adversary, Anthony had a love for the Oklahoma Sooners and instilled that tradition into his children and grandchildren. Anthony loved being around animals and successfully trained racehorses at Blue Ribbon Downs in Sallisaw for a time. After graduating from the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City, Anthony became an Air Traffic Controller and relocated his family to Houston, Texas. He was always a dedicated husband and father and inspired a deep faith in God to his children. Anthony loved his children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter; his family was very important to him.

 Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Evonne Snodgrass and Rebeccah Lee. He is survived by his son, Chris Lee and wife Stephanie; daughters, Kathy Spruill, and Becky Mery and husband Robert; brother, Craig Lee and wife Sandy; sister, Renee Hackler and husband Steve; grandchildren, Madison Lee, Hannah Lee, Hunter Spruill, and Jaxon Mery; great-granddaughter, Anayah Valdez. Visitation will be held in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, July 14, 2024 from 5-8pm. Funeral Service will be Monday, July 15, 2024 at 2pm in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Timothy Magee officiating.
