Stephen Edward Perk

Stephen Edward Perk, 63, of Kenefick, died Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 17, 2015, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services at 1:00 p.m., Friday, at the Brazoria Cemetery in Brazoria. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Stephen was born October 17, 1951 in Freeport, a former resident of Seabrook, and has resided in Kenefick for the past 17 years. He was a graduate of Brazosport High School class of 1970, received an associate degree from Brazosport College, a retired electrician from ODJFELL-Baytank, a member of the Kenefick Southern Baptist Church, and a former Jaycee. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, BBQs, gardening, and surfing. Mr. Perk was preceded in death by his parents, wife of 27 years: Rhonda G. Harrell Perk, and grandson: Taylor Ray Hendon. He is survived by daughters: Michelle Ann Bailey of Dickinson, Tresa Marie Johnson and husband Walter of Houston, Jennifer Donea Davis and husband William of Deer Park, Katherine Elizabeth Perk of Houston and Crystal Renee’ Perk of Houston, son: Richard Brett Hendon of Deer Park, brothers: Glenn Perk, Vincent Perk, Roger Perk, and Kenneth Perk, sisters: Marcia Peltier, Barbara Perk, and Carol Lundy, grandchildren: Travis Bailey, Jessica Hernandez, Kelsey Johnson, Kayla Bailey, Jacob Hernandez, and Brooklyn Hendon, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
