Stacy D. “Butterfly” Johnson Davis, 46, of Dayton, died Sunday, June 27, 2010, at the East Houston Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 1, 2010, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 2, 2010, at the Forest Park Cemetery-West in Shreveport, LA. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Stacy was born November 2, 1963 in Shreveport, to parents; John E. Johnson, Sr. and Owida Chapman, a former resident of Katy, and has resided in the Dayton area for the past 11 years. She was a homemaker, member of Brookwood Baptist Church, former member of the B.A.C.A. motorcycle club, and volunteer/supporter for the Bridgehaven Children’s Advocacy Center. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, softball, riding motorcycles, supporting the Cowboys, and especially spending time with her children. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her brother: John Edward Johnson, Jr. and mother-in-law: Betty Lou Davis. She is survived by her husband of 11 years: Rex Davis of Dayton, daughters: Brittney Richard of Atascocita and Brandi Davis of Nacogdoches, son: Brandon Richard of Katy, grandchildren: Zoe Jade, Jonathan, Jared, and Jayden, mother: Owida Hackleman of Ringgold, LA, father: John E. Johnson, Sr. and wife Catherine of Shreveport, sisters: Vickie Woodard of Waskom and Gloria Leon and husband Philip of Ringgold, LA, brother: Michael D. Johnson of Shreveport, father-in-law: Carl Shaw Davis of Dayton, brothers-in-law: Carl Ray Davis and wife Tina of Nacogdoches, Bill Winter and wife Lori of KY, and Jason Davis and wife Malina of HI, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. For those who desire, donations may be made to the Bridgehaven Children’s Advocacy Center at P.O Box 220 - 2601 N. Winfree - Dayton, TX 77535, in Stacy’s name.
