Sidney Doyle LaFour, 45, of Old River, died Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at the VA Medical Center in Houston.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 6, 2014, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services at 1:15 p.m., Monday, at the Houston National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Sidney was born January 8, 1969 in Baytown, to parents; Edwin "Jack" and Emma Marie Hargrave LaFour, and has been a lifelong resident of the Dayton area. He was a graduate of the Dayton High School class of 1987, a veteran of the US Army, and a pipefitter by trade. He also was an avid fisherman.
Mr. LaFour was preceded in death by his father: Edwin "Jack" LaFour. He is survived by his son: Caleb B. LaFour of Crosby, daughter: Cheyenne N. LaFour of Dayton, mother: Emma Marie Hargrave LaFour of Dayton, brothers: Floyd LaFour, Edwin LaFour, and Paul LaFour, sisters: Linda Dixon and Cheria LaFour, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
