Shirley Jean Miller Todd, 81, of Liberty passed away September 21, 2018 in Mexia. She was born April 13, 1937 in Patoka, Indiana to parents Charles Harrison Miller and Mary Montgomery Miller.
Services for Shirley will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 28, 2018 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will follow at Brookside Memorial Park in Houston. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday evening, September 27, 2018 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home.
Mrs. Todd spent her childhood years in Patoka, Indiana. She lived in Houston most of her life before moving to Liberty 10 years ago. Shirley was a very giving person and she volunteered for SOS for many years. She was a devoted mother loving her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald Todd; son, James Todd; and daughters, Betty Jo Todd, Tammy Shriver and Elaine Tabers. Shirley is survived by sons, Gerald S. Todd and wife Carol, Michael L. Todd, and Charles E. Todd and wife Jennifer; daughters, Rebecca Stanley and Cynthia Moreno and husband George; grandchildren, Tonia Tabers, Candace Kaplon, Michael Tabers, Andrea Lopez, Melissa Guy, Dena Henley, Donna Boyd, Jonathan Dodson, Shana Stanley, David M. Todd, Joseph Todd, Charles Todd, Jr.; 28 great-grandchildren; seven great great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Morrison; sister-in-law, Melodie Hollier; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
