Shirley Jean Oliver, age 76 and a resident of Cleveland for 40 years, passed away Friday, August 16, 2013 at her home. She was born January 24, 1937 in Eastgate, Texas to parents Herbert and Minnie Fregia. She was a homemaker and deeply devoted to her family. She enjoyed fishing, shopping, Wheel of Fortune, and Days of Our Lives but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Herbert Traxler, daughter Nancy Traxler Barnett, and great-grandson Mann Louis Green. Survivors include her loving husband of 25 years John Henry Oliver; brother Luther Fregia; grandchildren Corie Hancock, Terrie Traxler, Johnny L. Green Jr., Tina Padar, Wendy Manners, and Victoria Hamilton; her loving K-9 friends and companions “Happy†and “Biscuitâ€; many great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and treasured friends. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 18, 2013, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Pastor Nick Van will preside over funeral services being held 3:00 p.m., Monday, August 19, 2013 at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment following at Cleveland Memorial Cemetery.
