Shirley Anne Montgomery Bloss

Shirley Anne Bloss, age 83 of Alexandria, Louisiana, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019. She was born April 14, 1936 in Leesburg, Florida to parents Dr. Dargan Edwin and Harriett Minnie Montgomery who preceded her in death along with her sisters, Mary Lee Montgomery and Marguerite Helen Montgomery; and brother, Dargan Edwin Montgomery, Jr.

Survivors include her husband, James Lincoln Bloss; sons, James Montgomery Bloss and John Richard Bloss; daughters-in-law, Carolyn McWaters Bloss and Michele Sternfels Bloss; grandchildren, Ryan Richard Bloss (Emily), Gregory James Bloss (Carly), Stephanie Michele Bloss Miguez (Jared), Eric Michael Bloss (Alyce), and Matthew James Bloss; great-grandchildren, Gregory James Bloss, Jr., Lucy Frances Miguez, and Camille Michele Bloss; niece, Sherri Botts Layman; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will be held at Floydsburg Cemetery, Crestwood, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Liz Wakefield's Personal Care Home 701 Willow St. Cleveland, Texas 77327.
