Shellottia Lucille (Shelly) Nesloney was born November 8, 1936 daughter of the late Annie Elizabeth Magee and Henry Finigan. She grew up with her two younger sisters, Frankie Brown & Pamela Dissly. Shelly was a very hard worker and did well academically, she also excelled in High School sports and was often the captain of her team. She graduated from Reagan High School and eventually attended business school. She was the first woman to become a credit manager at Sears & Roebuck. Shelly married the love of her life Clinton Phillip Nesloney who she lovingly called Sonny. They started a very successful business, Space Age Laminating & Bindery in the 1960’s. It still exists today doing business as Clinton Custom Products. Shelly was a very strong, kind and successful woman. She was a mother to many, she opened her home and heart to children, teenagers and adults to help them through the rough times. She helped many friends, relatives, employees, Pastors and even strangers with finances, food, clothing or just listening & giving advice. She was an enthusiastic sports fan especially of the Texans & the Rockets. She loved Sonny and her daughters Tina, Terri & Bonny. She adored her grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, nieces and nephews. She treated everyone as though they were the most important person in the world. She was loved by everyone and will be missed more than words can express.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
