Sheila Bowers

Sheila Bowers, age 86 of Coldspring, Texas, passed from her earthly home Sunday, October 2, 2016 following a short illness. She was born October 8, 1929 in Newfoundland, Canada to parents Albert and Catherine King, who preceded her in death along with her loving husband of 65 years, Harold Bowers of Hampton, S.C.; son-in-law, Hugh (Borski) Clark of Lufkin, TX; and granddaughter, Jennifer Leann Stone of Dayton, TX.

Survivors include her sons, Harold Bowers, Jr. and wife Mary, Michael P. Bowers and wife Robin; daughters, Catherine Bowers Stone and husband William, Belinda Munke and husband David, Patricia Auel and husband John; brothers, Roy, George and Michael King and their families of Newfoundland, Canada; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Coldspring, Texas. A rosary will follow starting at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 4, 2016. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at St. Stephens Catholic Church, Pointblank, Texas. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Pace Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens, Cleveland, Texas.
