Sharon Kay Duncan (née Valentine), 51 of Coldspring passed away, Wednesday August 20, 2014 at home in Coldspring. Sharon was born July 23, 1963 in Houston, Texas to; Fred Valentine and Rosalee Scanlin. She had lived in Camilla for 10 years and was a former resident of Splendora. Sharon was a homemaker and loved spending time on the lake with her family. Service for Mrs. Duncan will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday August 23, 2014 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, at 303 Crockett in Cleveland, Texas. Interment will be at Pace Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens. Visitation will be Friday August 22, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Pace Stancil. Sharon was preceded in death by; her father-in-law, Carlton Duncan and brother-in-law, Billy Duncan. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Kenneth Duncan; father Fred Valentine of Shepherd and mother Rosalee Scanlin of Conroe; sons, Cory Duncan and Scott Duncan and daughter-in-law, Amanda; sisters, Pam Valentine and Diane Kervin and husband Carlton; brother, Vance Valentine and wife Shelia; brother-in-law, Tommy Duncan and wife Olga; granddaughter, Brooke Duncan; other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
