Sharon Joy Blake

Sharon Joy Blake, age 65, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012 at St. Luke’s Medical Center, The Woodlands, Texas. She was born July 27, 1947 in Kileen, Texas to parents Ruben Lee Cumba and Una Olene Grant Cumba who preceded her in death. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Coldspring, Texas. Sharon Joy lived life with beauty and grace and a heart full of love. She was kind and giving, sweet and loving, tender hearted, and deeply devoted to her family. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. She will be remembered lovingly by her husband Stephen Allen Blake; sons Wade Allen Blake, Bryan Lee Blake and Blain Michael Blanchard; brothers Simpson Lee Cumba, Roger Derrell Cumba; grandchildren Shelby Blake, Christina Blake, Brandon Blake, Harley Canales, Boston Blake, Hannah Blake; daughters-in-law Melissa R. Blake and Catherine A. Blake; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other cherished family members and faithful friends beyond measure. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 03, 2012, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Bro. Mike Minter, Bro. Thomas Bolton and Bro. Troy Whitmire will preside over funeral services being held Sunday, November 04, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, Coldspring, Texas with interment following at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens, Cleveland, Texas. Pallbearers include Wade Blake, Bryan Blake, Blain Blanchard, Marshall Coble, Tanner Whitmire, and Stephen Watson.
