Severiano Ramirez

Severiano Ramirez, 73, of Dayton, died Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at the Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, January 4, 2015, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Severiano was born February 21, 1941 in Edna, to parents; Francisco and Julianna Hernandez Ramirez, a former resident of Bay City, and has resided in Dayton for the past 36 years. He was retired truck driver and enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and especially spending time with his family.

Mr. Ramirez was preceded in death by his parents and son: J.F. "JR" Ramirez. He is survived by his wife of 34 years: Juanita Sanchez Ramirez of Dayton, daughters: Rhesa Perez of Bay City, Barbara Ramirez of Austin, Malinda Ramirez of Bay City, and Linda Ramirez of Bay City, sons: Severiano Ramirez, Jr. of Dallas, Bobby Ramirez of Bay City, and Daniel S. Ramirez of Atascocita, brothers: Frank Ramirez of Arkansas and Manuel Ramirez of Garland, sisters: Mary Zamora of Bay City, Mamie Tijerina of Bay City, and Isabelle Bermea of Bay City, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
