Sidney S. “Scottie†Cleveland, 51, of Dayton, died Sunday, July 7, 2013, in Dayton. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Scottie was born June 6, 1962 in Sugarland, to parents; Shepherd Lee Cleveland and Bobbie Ruth Ingle, a former resident of Cloverleaf, and has resided in the Dayton area since 1977. He was a superintendent for Bilfinger-TEPSCO of Mt. Belvieu with 20 years of employment and former construction worker. He enjoyed motorcycles, cook offs, music, and building BBQ pits. Mr. Cleveland was preceded in death by his father: Shepherd Lee “Bobby†Cleveland and mother: Bobbie Ruth Ingle Mauldin. He is survived by his daughters: Amanda Bettis and husband Jared of Anahuac and Kristina M. Delome and husband Bobby of Dayton, stepdaughters: Kimberly Butler and husband Cass of Dayton and Natasha Sunday and husband Allen of Dayton, sisters: Sherry Goodwine and husband James of Dayton, Sissy Denmon and husband Charles of Shepherd, and Cynthia Matlock Ripkowski of Dayton, brothers: James Cleveland and wife Val of NM, Johnnie Cleveland and wife Russie of VA, and Phillip Cleveland and wife Brenda of Dayton, 12 grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
