Scooter Felton, age 43, a lifetime resident of Coldspring, Texas, passed away after a hard battle with cancer on Wednesday, October 03, 2012 at M.D. Anderson, Houston, Texas. He was born October 09, 1968 in Houston, Texas. Scooter found great joy in cooking; family gatherings were made tastier with his Bar-B-Q along with his passion for cook-offs. When he had the time he loved fishing. Scooter's family was the light of his life, he was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother and steadfast friend; he will be remembered lovingly.Survivors include his wife Tammie Felton; parents Edward and Beverly Felton; daughter Shauna Elaine Jackson; sons Joshua Edward Felton, Joel Jason Welch, Josh Ward, son-in-law Dustin Keith Jackson; sister Donna Felton; brothers Michael Wells and wife Jessica, Timothy Wells and wife Beverly; grandchildren Kyia Elizabeth Jackson, Liam Edward Felton; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other cherished family members and faithful friends.Visitation will be held Friday, October 05, 2012, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 06, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment following at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens. Pallbearers include Dustin Jackson, Michael Wells Sr., Michael Wells Jr., Joel Welch, Josh Ward, Wrangler Martin, Bradley Caddenhead, Cody Harrison, Joshua Felton, Timothy Wells, Jacob Wells, and Brian Dean.
