Sarah Michelle Suydam

Sarah, 42, of Raywood, TX, entered eternal rest on April 19, 2023 in her residence. She was born January 6, 1981. She loved her fur babies, Sadie and Chance, very much. Sarah had the sweetest soul and loved everyone she met.

She is preceded in death by her Mother Jana Davenport. Maternal grandparents Clayton and Nell Thompson. Paternal grandfather Jacob Mathis, Jr. Her in-laws Ronald and Sandra Suydam.

Sarah is survived by her Loving Husband, Anthony Suydam, two daughters, Vanessa and Haleigh Suydam, all of Raywood, TX. Her Father and Stepmom, Brian and Sharon Mathis, of Shepherd, TX. Three brothers, Brett Mathis, of Canton, TX., Brian Mathis, of Mt. Belvieu, TX., Leslie Davenport (Sam) of Canton, TX. Two sisters, Stephanie Dennis (Marcus) of Perry, GA., Lisa Quick (Kevin) of Friendswood, TX. Paternal grandmother, Helen Mathis of Glenmora, LA. Special Uncle and Aunt, Steve and Sondra Doyle of Pitkin, LA., Aunt who she considered a Sister, Jennifer Gallio, of Dayton, TX. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and many cousins who she loved as siblings.

We thank everyone for the prayers, calls, and encouragement this past week. Special thanks to MD Anderson Oncology for taking great care of Sarah the past few years.
