Sarah Eunice West Bible, age 84, of Cleveland, Texas passed away at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at the home of Melissa Bible and Shawn Graham in Conroe, Texas. After a long brave fight with cancer, she has finally laid her head down one last time. She was born on July 12,1932 in Brazoria County, Clute Texas to parents Virgil Vernon West and Marjorie Irene Mallard, who have preceded her in death. She married James Franklin Bible when she was sixteen years old and never left his side for the sixty-seven years that they were married. Their love had it’s ups and down, but it flourished like no other. Sarah was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She firmly believed that family took care of each other and that family came first. She loved to cook for the family. Her most popular recipe was her Carrot Cake Recipe. She would have friends and family request carrot cakes for every holiday or special occasion.
Her husband James Franklin Bible, her son James R. Bible and her daughter Cathy Maples have all preceded her in death. Her surviving children, grandchildren and great grandchildren all feel her loss, but know that they will all be re-united one day.
